Allman & Associates, Inc. is an established Mechanical and
Electrical Engineering and Real Estate development firm.
We provide value-added, competitively-priced, responsive engineering
services for a range of architects, contractors and Owners. We see this
as an enduring, sometimes intense personal relationship, where our
Client looks to us for guidance and expertise regarding topics about
which they have limited knowledge, and expenditures which represent many
times our fee.
The firm provides a wide range of services. Including
engineering investigative studies, energy audits of existing buildings,
teaming with architectural firms on new construction, and providing
prime design construction and development services for our clients. We
maintain state-of-the-art CAD abilities currently utilizing AutoCAD 2010
and AutoCAD MEP 2010. Our principals are licienced
in multiple states, maintain leadership in a number of professional
groups, and are members of NCEES (National Council of
Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) and USGBC (U.S. Green Building
Council).
The Mechanical Engineering staff provides expertise and
trouble-shooting support in heating, ventilation and air conditioning
(HVAC) systems, plumbing, and fire protection. Frequent specialty work
includes studies, using data logging equipment, quick turnaround
design/build and repetitive retail projects, and exacting, coordinated
teaming with architectural firms.
The Electrical Engineering staff provides expertise, troubleshooting
and support in power, lighting, and low-voltage cabling. Frequent
specialty work includes computer modeling of lighting to balance light
levels against capital cost and energy expenditure, aesthetically
sensitive fixture selection for historic rehabilitation or adaptive
reuse projects, lighting power budget calculations to meet the clients'
functional requirements within state and national energy codes criteria,
and low-voltage systems used in computer rooms, fire alarm security and
telecommunication applications.
Due to the variety in our revenue resources and specialty markets,
our client base is extremely diverse. We aim to confidentially meet the
needs of each of these clients. We do this by:
